| Description |
The goal of the Assisted Competitive Employment (ACE) Project is to assist individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental disorder in obtaining and maintaining employment. This program is based in Syracuse, NY.
ACE works to eliminate some of the barriers that exist in the delivery of vocational services to adults with mental illness who have not secured employment. ACE staff provide intensive support and advocacy that is catered to meet the unique needs of each person. A service coordinator assures integration and timely intervention of needed supports and services. The ACE Project gives priority to facilitating movement directly from mental health treatment and day services to employment.
