| Description |
Parent Voices seeks to improve access to child care for all families in California through advocacy. Currently, Parent Voices has chapters in seventeen counties throughout California. At the organizations' core are parents who work to advocate for improvements in access to and affordability of quality child care. In order to accomplish this goal, parents conduct trainings on strategic organizing, leadership development, advocacy skills, and other relevant issues. They also send out policy updates and calls to action, convene local parents to build support networks and take collective action, and build relationships with local and state elected officials as well as coalition partners.
